How We Are Staying Safe Together

With the Civic Center open, our primary goal is to continue to provide a safe environment.  We have taken additional steps and implemented new protocols to reduce the health risks to our patrons and employees.

What We're Doing to Help Keep You Safe:

Masks:  Our staff is required to wear masks when in the activity areas and common spaces throughout the facility.

Distancing:  Adherence to posted distancing requirements is strongly encouraged.

Cleaning:  Extra time is being dedicated by staff to clean throughout the facility.  High touch surfaces (door handles, railings, etc.) will receive continuous disinfection.

Temp Scanning:  All employees are self-scanning their temperature prior to their work shift starting.

Hand Sanitizer:  Each activity area has hand sanitizer available for patrons and staff.

What Can You Do to Help?

Stay home if you're sick:  Members should stay home if they don't feel well.  Those populations identified by the CDC and local health officials as vulnerable (seniors, those with underlying health conditions, etc.) are encouraged to stay at home.

Wipe Down Equipment:  Our policies have always encouraged patrons to clean and disinfect equipment after use.  It becomes especially important now that equipment, weights, mats, etc. are cleaned before and after use.  We have readily available disinfectant spray and wipes located in each activity area.

Maintain Your Distance:  Strive to maintain at least 6 feet between you and others as much as possible.

Bring a Water Bottle and Towel:  Drinking fountains are not available.

Masks:  While not required, patrons are encouraged to wear masks whenever possible, especially in common areas (i.e. lobby, hallways, etc.)

Sanitize Your Hands Frequently:  There is hand sanitizer available in each activity area, locker rooms, and front desk.
